A little three-tailed kitsune with a leaf I designed. There's no automatic embroidery here - the leaf details were manually satin stitched with my machine. The leaf is attached to the plush with a tiny safety pin, although it stays on the head rather well on its own when fitted around the ear. The gold cord adds a nice accent while also hiding the head seam, giving the entire plush a more uniform look. It's always the goal of plush makers to hide seams as much as possible, either by having as few seams as they can manage, or by sewing the seams very tightly. High pile minky hides them well.
I loved this design so much that I kept one for myself - something I rarely do when I tend to struggle to make enough plush for conventions!
